HandPunch Configuration
These are the instructions for entering the network information into the HandPunch.
- From the main screen, which reads ENTER ID, press Clear then Enter.
- You will see either a star symbol (*) or the text ENTER PASSWORD.
- If you see ENTER PASSWORD, there are no employees currently enrolled in the HandPunch and you can skip to Step 6.
- If you see a star symbol (*), continue the login process with Step 3.
- Enter in your Clock ID and press Enter.
- The displays shows PLACE HAND. Place your hand.
- You will see ENTER PASSWORD in the display.
- Press 2 then Enter.
- Press No until you see SET SERIAL. Before you press Yes, you must be ready to start entering the IP Address on the next step. Press Yes.
- Enter 010 001 009 091. Before you press Yes, you must be ready to start entering the Gateway Address on the next step. Press Yes.
- Enter 010 001 009 001. Before you press Yes, you must be ready to enter the Host Bits on the next step. Press Yes.
- Enter 8. Press Yes.
- The display shows 9600 baud. Press Yes.
- Press Clear until you are back to the main screen, which reads ENTER ID.
