HandPunch Configuration
These are the instructions for entering the network information into the HandPunch.
- From the main screen (ENTER ID), press Clear then Enter.
- If you see ENTER PASSWORD in the display then there are no employees currently enrolled in the HandPunch. Skip to step 6.
- You should see a star symbol (*) on the bottom line of the display. If you do not see the * then go back to step 1.
- Enter in your Clock ID and press Enter.
- The displays shows PLACE HAND. Place your hand.
- You will see ENTER PASSWORD in the display.
- Press 2 then Enter.
- Press No (*) until you see SET SERIAL. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to start entering the IP Address on the next step. Press Yes (#).
- Enter 192 168 001 099. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to start entering the Gateway Address on the next step. Press Yes (#).
- Enter 192 168 001 001. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to enter the Host Bits on the next step. Press Yes (#).
- Enter 24. Press Yes (#) twice.
- Press Clear until you are back to the main screen (ENTER ID).
