HandPunch Network Configuration Guide

HandPunch Configuration

These are the instructions for entering the network information into the HandPunch.

1. From the main screen (ENTER ID), press Clear then Enter.
2. If you see ENTER PASSWORD in the display then there are no employees currently enrolled in the HandPunch. Skip to step 6.
3. You should see a star symbol (*) on the bottom line of the display. If you do not see the * then go back to step 1.
4. Enter in your Clock ID and press Enter.
5. The displays shows PLACE HAND. Place your hand.
6. You will see ENTER PASSWORD in the display.
7. Press 2 then Enter.
8. Press No (*) until you see SET SERIAL. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to start entering the IP Address on the next step. Press Yes (#).
9. Enter 010 001 009 091. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to start entering the Gateway Address on the next step. Press Yes (#).
10. Enter 010 001 009 001. Before you press Yes (#) you must be ready to enter the Host Bits on the next step. Press Yes (#).
11. Enter 8. Press Yes (#) twice.
12. Press Clear until you are back to the main screen (ENTER ID).
