As an example if the max is set to 8 hours then TA counts up all the below pay type hours to see if it's more than 8.

The below are counted for the daily max:

If no pay types are selected on the "Applies To" tab of the premium, then count:

- Only pay types that are set as "Add to Totals".

- Only hours that are worked. (Punched, Guaranteed or Auto)

- Other hours are not included even if worked.

If pay types are selected on the "Applies To" tab of the premium, then count:

- All pay types that are selected even if they aren't set as "Add to Totals" and/or even if they don't count towards premiums.

- Only hours that are worked. (Punched, Guaranteed or Auto)

- Other hours are not included even if worked.

If pay types and "Unworked Hours Type" are selected on the "Applies To" tab of the premium, then count:

- All pay types that are selected even if they aren't set as "Add to Totals".

- Only hours that are Other Hours Unworked, or Guaranteed Holiday Hours (HOL Benefit).

Notes

  1. The "Worked Hours Type" check box on the "Applies To" tab has zero effect on Pay Date Maximums
  2. Other hours that are added via a Placeholder are automatically added as "Unworked Hours" unless the pay types is specifically configured as a "Fixed Worked" pay type.
