Ribbon (1)

The ribbon replaces the concept of menus and toolbars with various types of commands as buttons or drop-downs.

Main Working Area (2)

The software uses a single "active" working area known as the "main working area," to display the different informational screens. The three informational screens shown in the main working area are:

Employees – the employees screen appears by default when you start the software. The employee list runs down the left side of the screen, and displays all the employees you have the authorization to view. Clicking on an employee will display information on that employee organized under the Employee, Time Card, Schedules, and Accruals tabs to the right of the employees list. Selecting the Home tab will re-display the employees screen, if you have loaded the Scheduler or a configuration screen.

Scheduler – select the Scheduler tab to display the scheduler screen. The Scheduler tab appears only if you have licensed this module. Select the Home tab to re-display the employees screen.

Configuration – select the Configuration tab to display the configuration commands. The corresponding configuration screen will appear in the main working area upon selecting one of the configuration commands. Select the Home tab to re-display the employees screen. Generally, only administrative users have access to the Configuration tab.

Status Bar (3)

The status bar provides informational text about the software. Displayed on the left is the licensee name. Displayed on the right are the database server and the name of the database. Displayed in the middle is information based on what you are doing in the software. For example, clicking and holding on a punch in the time card screen will display the calculated time of that punch in the status bar.
